Xiangyan Feng: Plant Direct First Author

Xiangyan Feng, first author of “The limiting effect of genome size on xylem vessel diameter is shifted by environmental pressures in seed plants”

Current Position: PhD at Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China

Education: My research field is Plant Ecology and Physiology. I started my first research about leaf traits variation along altitude gradient when I am a student at Lanzhou University and was supervised by Professor Wei Qi. After that, I got my master degree at the School of Life Sciences of Lanzhou University following Professor Xiangwen Fang during 2017-2020. Then I was accepted by the Research Fellow Wenzhi Zhao as a PhD at Chinese Academy of Sciences. I kept on studying plant physiological and ecological responses to environmental pressures in recent years. The advances of my research could be found in my personal profile at Researchgate (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Xiangyan-Feng).

Non-scientific Interests: I have wide interest at basketball match and football match.
