Brief bio: During my master program (2016-2019), I learned from Professor Qiang Hu about the microalgal mass cultivation technology. I pursued my Ph.D under the supervision of Professor Danxiang Han, with a focus on the lipid metabolism of microalgae by using the green alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii as the model. Using molecular and biochemical approaches, we characterized the functions of the glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase (CrGPATer) of C. reinhardtii, and uncovered its potential as genetic engineering target for functional lipid biomanufacturing. At present, I work for Demeter Biotechnology (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd., a start-up company adopting synthetic biology and photon-carbon smart bio-manufacturing technology to accelerate the commercialization of microalgae-based products.

个人简介:

硕士研究生期间(2016-2019),我师从藻类学家胡强教授,学习微藻的大规模培养技术。2019年至2022年,我在韩丹翔研究员的指导下,以绿藻莱茵衣藻为模型生物,探究微藻的脂质代谢通路。利用分子生物学和生物化学的方法,我们表征了莱茵衣藻甘油-3-磷酸酰基转移酶(CrGPATer)的功能,并揭示了其作为功能性脂质生物制造的基因工程靶点的潜力。目前,本人就职于德默特生物科技(珠海)有限公司,德默特是一家应用合成生物学和光碳智造技术实现微藻基产品商业化的生物科技公司。
