Brief bio: In 2017, I joined the College of Life Sciences, Shanghai Normal University, China. I am honored to be here for my master’s degree in botany in Prof. Shui Wang’s lab, who focus on plant immunity. Our lab previously found that the Arabidopsis nucleoporin CPR5 interacts with cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors (CKIs) to negatively regulates effector-triggered immunity (ETI) and programmed cell death (PCD). In 2019, we genetically identified new members of the CPR5 signaling pathway, leading us to a new direction. After I graduated in 2020, I decided to pursue my PhD study with Prof. Wang. We discovered that CPR5 protein is an RNA-binding protein involved in RNA processing, including splicing and polyadenylation. This study provides a new mechanism of the CPR5 immune signaling and an important scientific basis for understanding the plant immune system.





个人简介:2017年我来到上海师范大学生命科学学院,加入王水教授课题组攻读植物学硕士学位,王水教授致力于植物免疫方面的研究。早在2014年,王水教授在Cell Host & Microbe期刊发表了关于CPR5蛋白调控植物免疫的研究,阐述了拟南芥核膜蛋白CPR5通过与周期蛋白依赖性激酶抑制剂cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors (CKIs)的相互作用负调控植物免疫effector-triggered immunity(ETI)和programmed cell death(PCD)。2019年,课题组在王水教授的带领下成功找到了CPR5信号通路的相关成员,新的发现为团队提供了新的思路。2020年硕士毕业之后,继续跟着王水教授攻读博士学位。课题组发现CPR5蛋白参与到RNA的内含子剪切和多聚腺苷酸加尾。我们发现拟南芥核膜蛋白CPR5蛋白是一个RNA结合蛋白,通过RNA加工复合体调控植物免疫,该研究的发现为CPR5蛋白调控植物免疫提供了新的机理,也为了解植物免疫系统提供了重要的科学依据。
