Brief bio: I finished my PhD in Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021, during which my research is mainly focused on revealing the molecular mechanisms of endoreduplication control in Arabidopsis. After that I stayed in Dr. Yunhai Li’s lab as a postdoc. Our study elucidated an important genetic and molecular mechanism by which SKIP/SUD3 associates with UBP14/DA3 and UVI4 to modulate endoreduplication in Arabidopsis. Except the study on endoreduplication control, I also worked on nitrogen use efficiency in model plant Arabidopsis and other crops. I hope to solve important scientific questions in the field of organ size control and provide candidate gene resources for improving agronomic performance of crops.
