Bolun Meng: Plant Physiology First Author

Bolun Meng, co-first author of “An SNW/SKI-INTERACTING PROTEIN influences endoreduplication and cell growth in Arabidopsis”

Current Position: PhD Student, Henan University.

Education: Bachelor, Henan University of Technology; Master, South China Normal University

Non-scientific interests: physical fitness; movies; music

Brief bio: I joined the State Key Laboratory of Crop Stress Adaptation and Improvement of Henan University in 2020. I conducted my research during my doctoral studies under Professor Song Chunpeng’s team. My work mainly focused on the molecular mechanism of stomata development in maize. Stomatal is the gateway for plants to exchange gases with the external atmosphere, which is crucial for the growth and development of plants. Therefore, elucidating the molecular mechanisms of stomatal development can play a good theoretical foundation for modern agricultural improvement.
