Brief bio: I earned my B.Sc. in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013. During my undergrad experience at the SoyFACE facility, I became interested in climate changed-induced environmental effects on crops. I also began my first roots project, not knowing it would place me on a path to be a roots person for life. Since 2014, I been a member of the Plant Biology PhD program at Penn State focusing on maize root physiology and drought stress.
