Brief bio: I have been working at Dr. Aurelio Gómez-Cadenas’ lab at University Jaume I of Castellón (Spain) since 2015, where I obtained my PhD. My research focus on plant responses to abiotic stress combinations. I study the responses of citrus plants to the combination of multiple stress factors such as drought, heat, salinity or high light intensity. Also, I study the physiological and molecular responses of Arabidopsis thaliana to heat and high light stress combination. My objective is to reveal the mechanisms of acclimatization of plants to adverse environmental conditions and thus give rise to new crop improvement programs.
