Yuhao Liu: The Plant Cell First Author

Yuhao Liu, co-first author of “Arabidopsis CHROMATIN REMODELING 19 acts as a transcriptional repressor and contributes to plant pathogen resistance”

Current position: Postdoc in Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College

Education: PhD (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) in Fudan University; B.Sc. (Biotechnology Base class) in Lanzhou University

Interests: Basketball, Pingpang, Movies

Brief Bio: During my doctoral study, I mainly studied the function of histone modification in the process of gene transcription regulation in plants through big data analysis and integration analysis, and found that H3K4me2 is a new inhibitory marker in plants. During the post-doctoral period, I studied the function of tumor immune microenvironment in tumor progression and metastasis and tumor response to drugs by integrating and analyzing multiple omics data with bioinformation technology. My research interests also include the application of machine learning model and AI in immunotherapy efficacy prediction, therapeutic target and drug research development.
