Yutao Zou

Yutao Zou (She/her)  is the First Author of Arabinosylation of cell wall extensin is required for the directional response to salinity in roots published 01 May 2024.

Zou is a Postdoc at Biology Centre, Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS). Education background includes a 2022 Ph.D Plant physiology at Wageningen University and research; a 2016 MSc Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Maize Research Institute, Sichuan Agricultural University; and a 2013 BSc Agronomy at Sichuan Agricultural University. Research interests include Plant physiology, Abiotic stress. Personal interests include Reading, Painting.

Zhiwu Dan

Zhiwu Dan (he/his) is the First Author of GROWTH REGULATING FACTOR 7-mediated arbutin metabolism enhances rice salt tolerance published 03 May 2024.

He is an Assistant Research Fellow at Wuhan University. Education background includes a 2016 Ph.D Genetics at Wuhan University and a 2011 BS Biotechnology at Jianghan University. Research interests include Abiotic stress, Heterosis. Personal interests include Fishing, Running.

Yunping Chen

Yunping Chen (she) is the First Author of GROWTH REGULATING FACTOR 7-mediated arbutin metabolism enhances rice salt tolerance published 03 May 2024.

She is a Postdoctor at Wuhan University. Education background includes a 2018 Ph.D Plant Genetics at Wuhan University; 2012 BSc Biology at Anqing Normal University. Research interests include Plant metabolism, Abiotic stress, Transcriptional Factor, and Grain Development. Personal interests include Reading.

“After entering the National Key Laboratory of Hybrid Rice at Wuhan University to engage in graduate-level studies, I found that different rice transgenic materials have different phenotypes, which is a very interesting thing, and I wanted to know why different genes have different functions and how it interacts with other genes to regulate different phenotypes. These scientific questions sparked my interest in plant science.”


Guoxin Chen

Guoxin Chen (he) is the First Author of The OsMOB1A–OsSTK38 kinase complex phosphorylates CYCLIN C,  controlling grain size and weight in rice published 10 May 2024.

He is a Ph.D candidate at Biotechnology Research Institute, CAAS, Education background includes a 2024 Ph.D Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at CAAS; a 2019 MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at CAAS; and a 2016 BSc Biology Shanxi Agriculture University. Research interests include Plant metabolism, Synthetic biology. Personal interests include Football, Music.

Xinyang Wu

Xinyang Wu (he) is the First Author of A viral small interfering RNA-host plant mRNA pathway modulates virus-induced drought tolerance by enhancing autophagy published 27 May 2024.

Wu is an Assistant Researcher at China Jiliang University. Education background includes2021 Ph.D Plant Pathology at Zhejiang University; 2015 BAgr Horticulture at Zhejiang University. Research interests include Plant stress. Personal interests include Singing.
