Xi Zhang, first author of Phosphorylation-mediated dynamics of nitrate transceptor NRT1.1 regulate auxin flux and nitrate signaling in lateral root growth

Brief bio: I joined the research team of Prof. Jinxing Lin in 2013 and started my doctoral career in the field of plant cell biology. My research focuses on the regulation mechanism of NRT1.1 phosphorylation status on lateral roots development in Arabidopsis. I worked as a postdoctoral researcher after graduation and perform further study on nitrate-regulated NRT1.1-dependent plant growth together with forestry seed development. Enthusiasm for plant research promotes me to continue to work in scientific research and explore the mysteries in the unknown plant field.

个人简介：2013年，我加入林金星教授的研究团队，开始了我在植物细胞生物学领域的博士生涯。博士期间主要从事NRT1.1磷酸化状态对拟南芥侧根发育的调控的研究。博士毕业后，我在林金星教授课题组从事博士后研究，继续开展NRT1.1调控植物生长发育相关研究以及林木种子研究。对植物科学的研究热情激励我继续从事相关科研工作，探索植物领域的未知奥秘。
