Brief bio: Following a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences/Plant Breeding from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, with research work conducted at CIRAD (Montpellier, France), Jos held post-doctoral positions with Andy Maule in virology at the John Innes Centre (Norwich, UK), with Emmanuel Guiderdoni in rice research at CIRAD, and with Eduardo Blumwald at UC Davis.  Since 2003, Jos is leading the plant transformation group at Arcadia and manages Arcadia’s Asia and Africa-targeted rice and wheat projects. Since 2017, he is the science lead on Arcadia’s reduced gluten wheat project.
