Brief bio: I grew up in a small town with green hills and water in southern China. With curiosity and the encouragement of my biology teacher in high school, I started my college life at Wuhan University majoring in life science. Wuhan University is a beautiful place with many colorful trees and plants. In the university, I learned cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology and plant biology. At the same time, the way that plants respond to biotic and abiotic stress in their sessile lives aroused my strong interest. Subsequently, I joined Prof. Daoxin Xie’s team as a Ph.D. student at Tsinghua University and focused on plant hormone function. During my studies, I found that the strategies evolved to protect plants from stress, especially those involved in the coevolution of parasitic plants and their hosts, is intriguing. I hope to further explore the defense mechanisms through structural, biochemical, and bioinformatics approaches in the future.

简介:我出生在中国一个有山有水的南方小镇中,也因此对于大自然有一种纯粹的热爱。带着对自然科学的好奇心和中学时代生物老师的鼓励,高考后的我进入到了美丽的武汉大学就读生物专业,在武汉大学生命科学院生物学基地班里短暂而充实的四年时光里,我系统性的学习了生命科学领域的多种基础学科,包括动物学,植物学,细胞生物学,分子生物学,生物化学等,对于生命科学的研究有了一定的了解。并且在植物资源丰富的武汉大学校园里,我开始对植物的神奇生命力产生了极大的兴趣,对于其如何在复杂的环境中抵御来自各方面的威胁感到十分好奇。于是在毕业后我加入到了清华大学生命科学院谢道昕老师实验室,作为在读博士生开始了对植物激素的探究之旅,因为植物激素在植物对抗生物和非生物胁迫中起到了至关重要的作用。在博士期间的学习,我了解到生命科学是个复杂而且需要多学科交叉的科学,需要不断的学习和探究。同时我还发现植物在对抗胁迫不断进化出的防御机制十分有意思,尤其是植物与寄生生物之间的共同进化。因此以后也希望可以继续通过多种手段,如蛋白结构和生化生信等系统性的研究植物抗性相关机制。
