Brief bio: During my postgraduate study, I mainly explored the biological function of non-coding RNA in cotton by combining various omics data. In this study, we annotated lncRNAs with accurate splicing sites, transcriptional initiation and termination sites in G. arboreum by combining multi-strategy RNA-seq data. The transcriptional characteristics of full-length lncRNA were analyzed, and the regulation of lncRNA on targeted coding genes was predicted based on transcriptome data.

个人经历：在研究生期间，我主要通过结合多种组学数据，探究棉花基因组中非编码RNA的生物学功能。在该项研究中，我们通过结合多种不同策略的转录组测序技术，在亚洲棉中注释出了具有准确剪接位点、转录起始和终止位点的长链非编码RNA（lncRNA）。我们对全长lncRNA进行了转录特征分析，并基于转录组学数据预测了lncRNA对靶标基因的调控方式。
