Brief bio: In 2019, I graduated from Shenyang Agricultural University with a bachelor’s degree. Then I joined the research group of Academician Tianlai Li in the College of Horticulture at Shenyang Agricultural University. Under the guidance of Academician Tianlai Li and Professor Tao Xu, I engaged in research on the molecular mechanism of tomato pedicel abscission. We found that the signal pathway mediated by the ethylene and the peptide IDA controls low light-induced flower abscission in tomatoes. I hope further research to unlock the secrets of tomato flower pedicel abscission.
