Brief bio: Being agronomist and Plant Physiologist, the prime aim of my research is to develop practical and effective practices for the farmers to overcome weeds and to enhance crop productivity and input-use efficiency in a sustainable and cost-effective manner. I am particularly interested in developing hormone-based strategies for combating Striga . My research aims also at exploiting the potential of carotenoid-derived small molecules for usage as bio-stimulants in agriculture.
