Brief bio:

My research interests in plant science began with the undergraduate study at Hunan Institute of Engineering.  In 2014, I joined the lab of Prof. Chen Fang at Sichuan University for my M.Sc. degree and worked on the separation and purification of ribosome-inactivating proteins from the energy plant Jatropha curcas. I pursued my Ph.D study at Kunming University of Science and Technology in 2018 and was supervised by Prof. Xiuming Cui. I worked on the transcriptomics and proteomics of Panax notoginseng responding to pathogen infection. In order to further explore the molecular mechanism of Panax notoginseng against leaf diseases, I joined the Plant Hormone and Environment lab which was under the guidance of Prof. Chen Qi in 2019 and illustrated that melatonin functions in stomatal immunity in Panax notoginseng and Arabidopsis. Our results found that melatonin has a function in priming of stomatal immunity and (ii) identifies PMTR1 as a mediator of the plant PTI response via regulation of the MAPK and GPA1 signaling pathways.

科研经历简介

我在湖南工程学院本科学习期间就对植物学产生了浓厚的兴趣。2018年,我进入昆明理工大学攻读博士学位,在导师崔秀明研究员的指导下开展三七黑斑病方面的研究工作,在转录组、蛋白质组和代谢组等多组学层面解析三七应答人参链格孢侵染的机理。我于2019年底加入陈奇教授团队,研究褪黑素调控三七和拟南芥抗病的分子机理,发现了1)植物褪黑素诱导气孔免疫的新功能;2)褪黑素受体PMTR1是植物早期PTI应答的新调节因子,其通过分别激活MAPK和GPA1的信号通路诱导气孔免疫。我们最终阐述了植物褪黑素在气孔免疫中的重要功能,也为植物褪黑素信号转导途径提出新见解。
