Brief bio: Photosynthesis has fascinated me ever since I became a biochemistry student a little over ten years ago. After finishing my Master’s degree it was clear to me that I wanted to pursue a career in science and more specifically in the field of photosynthesis research. Hence, I sought my way into the University of Turku, to the laboratory of Molecular Plant Biology, which is the center of photosynthesis research in Finland and also recognized internationally. Currently, I am at the stage of finishing my PhD studies. After defending my thesis I hope to continue working on the regulation of photosynthesis using mass spectrometry as a tool.
