Brief Bio: I completed my Ph.D. in the Laboratory of Plant Chromatin Biology (Prof Yoo-Sun Noh´s group) at Seoul National University in 2016. In 2017, our family moved to Germany. After a temporary parental leave, I started my career as a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Molecular Physiology (Prof. Wolf B. Frommer´s group) at HHU. I feel fortunate to be a part of this motivated international team of extraordinary colleagues, inspiring collaborators, and a passionate and supportive PI. With their support, I am currently investigating different factors that determine the differentiation and function of the phloem cells in plants.
