Brief bio: Inspired by the beauty of the dynamics of cellulose synthesis complex while working with Dr. Tobias Baskin and Dr. Lori Goldner at Massachusetts University in Amherst, I started to wonder what are the destinies of the plasma membrane-localized protein, and how this is modulated. That brought me to work with Dr. Eugenia (Jenny) Russinova at PSB-VIB, where I indulged myself in exploring the unsolved mechanisms underlying endocytosis in plant kingdom using BRI1, the famous receptor kinase, as a model. I started to be independent from March 2022 at Shandong Agricultural University leading my own lab deciphering the link between small peptide-receptor like kinases and abiotic stress sensing in Arabidopsis and crops.
