Yuhua Yang, first author of “Stress response proteins NRP1 and NRP2 are pro-survival factors that inhibit cell death during ER stress”
Current Position: Postdoctoral fellow (South China Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences)
Education: PhD at University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018
Non-scientific Interests: great food, music
Brief bio: During my postgraduate period, I mainly conducted research on the pathogenic mechanism of fusarium wilt of banana. In my doctoral and postdoctoral research, I focused on the studies of the molecular mechanisms of senescence and stress-induced plant cell death, as well as the basic functions of NRP genes in various environmental stress responses.
