Master in Genetics and Plant Breeding at the Federal University of Lavras (2017). Masters thesis with recurrent selection in Urochloa humidicola (Syn. Brachiaria humidicola) in partnership between the university and Embrapa Beef Cattle (MS, Brazil). Doctor in Genetics and Plant Breeding, developing the thesis together with the Upland Rice Breeding Program (MelhorArroz) at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA). Sandwich PhD in the United States (USA) at University of Arkansas with a focus on biotechnology and genetic engineering with researches about drought tolerance in rice (Oryza sativa) and soybean (Glycine max) (2019-2020).
