Brief bio:

While conducting doctoral research on the molecular mechanisms that control the tillering of switchgrass, I established the CRISPR/Cas9-based genome editing platform for switchgrass. After graduating, I continued my research on plant genome engineering, plant synthetic biology, and developing plant-based biosensor for monitoring microbial signals. The research results have been published in Plant Biotechnology Journal, Plant Physiology, Frontiers in plant science, and etc.
