Brief bio: When I finished the postdoctoral work in the Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology, I joined the Hunan Hybrid Rice Research Center. I am great proud to work in the best research institute of world for hybrid rice and deeply miss the father of hybrid rice, academician Yuan Longping. My research mainly focuses on photosynthesis and yield improvement of rice. I am identifying the genes which can increase the whole plant photosynthesis and yield, and uncovering the corresponding mechanisms.

个人简历:2016年从中科院遗传发育所童依平研究员课题组博士毕业后,我加入了植物生理生态所朱新广研究员团队从事博士后研究工作。入职湖南杂交水稻研究中心后,我的研究方向是水稻高产高光效的机理解析。主要通过反向遗传学的方法,从光合生理和分子遗传学的角度鉴定和解析候选基因高产高光效的机理。在本研究中,我们以高光效的NAL1基因为研究对象,在同一基因型背景条件下,分析NAL1不同单倍型对水稻光合和产量的效应,并解析其可能的调控机理。我们的结果显示,NAL1通过直接和间接的作用负调控水稻叶片光合速率,同时正调控水稻的穗粒数、负调控穗数。NAL1的籼稻型和粳稻型是当前育种上主要应用的两种功能单倍型,两种单倍型各有其生态适应性,但籼稻型的NAL1在高光的条件下具有更高的群体光能利用效率和产量潜力。
