Brief bio: After I finished my Ph.D in microbes, I was introduced to the fascinating area of plants and abiotic stress during my postdoc at International Rice Research Institute, Philippines and at Academia Sinica, Taiwan. My experience in working on Rice and Arabidopsis by employing molecular, cell biology and physiology methods enable me to gain more knowledge on understanding the molecular mechanisms of how plants adapt to environmental stresses. My motivation comes from anticipating the outcome of new experiments and to unravel unknown things. I hope to continue this journey in the foreseeable future.
