Brief bio: After receiving my B.S. degree from Hebei Normal University, I received my M.S. degree at The University of Edinburgh. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student at Northeast Normal University under the supervision of Professor Bao Liu and Professor Zheng-Yi Xu. My major scientific interests is to understand how epigenetic components and transcription factors functions in the plant stress hormone abscisic acid (ABA) responses. Previously, I studied how novel trithorax-group proteins ARABIDOPSIS TRITHORAX4 (ATX4) and ATX5, which are specific H3K4 methyltransferases, play a role in the ABA responsive gene expression. In the second project, we tried to understand how Arabidopsis GOLDEN 2-LIKE 1 and 2 (GLK1/2), which act as transcriptional activators, modulate the ABA-responsive gene expression. In the future, I hope to continue to studying how abiotic stress responses integrates into influencing plant growth and development under ever-changing environment.

个人简介:2015年起,我在东北师范大学分子表观遗传教育部重点实验室进行博士阶段的学习,指导教师为刘宝教授和徐正一教授。博士期间我主要研究的课题是表观调控元件和转录调控因子在ABA应答过程中的功能研究和作用机制。前期进行的工作中,我研究了全新的表观调控元件:组蛋白H3K4me4甲级转移酶ATX4 和ATX5,在调控ABA 应答过程中起到重要的作用;此外,还试图解析拟南芥转录调控激活元件GLK1/2 是如何调控ABA 应答过程中的基因表达。在未来,我希望继续研究植物是如何在不断变化的环境中,调整自身生长和发育的平衡,来应对外界的胁迫。
