Brief bio: After I received my doctor’s degree in College of Plant Protection from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2018, I joined Prof. Lianyang Bai’s lab at the College of Plant Protection, Hunan Agricultural University,China. I am interested in herbicide resistance biochemistry and molecular biology. In this study, in collaboration with Prof. Qin Yu’s group in The University of Western Australia, we provided direct experimental evidence of the evolution of a plant AKR metabolizing glyphosate and thereby conferring glyphosate resistance in a globally important, glyphosate-resistant weedy species. I enjoy my research now and hope to make better progress in the understanding of herbicide resistance in future.

个人简介:2018年博士毕业于南京农业大学农药学专业后,我进入到湖南农业大学植物保护学院柏连阳教授实验室工作。我们实验室在杂草对除草剂抗药性及其机理有着很好的研究基础。在本研究中,通过与澳大利亚西澳大学余勤教授课题组合作,我们发现了稗草代谢草甘膦的关键基因(EcAKR4-1)通过生物复合酶促反应破坏草甘膦的C-N键,将草甘膦转化为低毒的氨甲基磷酸与无毒的乙醛酸,阐明了稗草代谢草甘膦的新机制。我非常享受我目前的研究工作和生活,我希望在未来的研究中能取得更好的进展和收获。
