Brief bio: I joined the laboratory of Dr. Jixian Zhai at SUSTech to pursue a PhD in 2017. I was lucky enough to have a good platform and conditions to learn biological experiments and improve bioinformatics analysis skills. My research is about combining computational and experimental approaches to study functions of plant small RNAs (sRNAs). I’m very interested in large-scale sRNA sequencing data analysis, and my current research is focused on phased-siRNAs and endogenous protein-coding genes-derived sRNAs in plants. I’m also interested in integrating multi-omics datasets and hope to make better progress in functions of plant sRNAs in future.

2017年加入南方科技大学翟继先副教授的实验室攻读博士学位。我有幸拥有一个非常好的平台和条件来学习生物学实验和提高生物信息学分析技能。我的研究方向是结合计算和实验方法来研究植物小RNA的功能。我对大规模的小RNA测序数据分析非常感兴趣，目前的研究主要关注于植物中相位排列的小干扰RNA和内源性蛋白编码基因来源的小RNA。我也对整合多组学数据非常感兴趣，希望今后能在植物小RNA功能方面的研究取得更好的进展。
