Brief bio: I made my master and PhD in the group of Carmen Quinto and Federico Sánchez, studying the early stages of the P. vulgaris-rhizobium interaction. Later, I had a 4 year postdoc in Hungary, in the lab of Éva Kondorosi, analysing the terminal differentiation of nitrogen-fixing bacteroids. Currently, my projects are focused on the intercellular rhizobial infection, using the model legume Lotus japonicus in the group leaded by Jens Stougaard.
