Brief bio: I enrolled as a graduate student at the University of Tuebingen, Germany in 2009. During a molecular plant-based class in 2011, I met Dr. Sabine Mueller giving a lecture on plant cell division. Little that I know back then that I would become soon her first Bachelor – and later Master – student (2012), starting to work on kinesins. In 2014 I continued my work in her lab as a PhD student, successfully earning my degree in 2018. During the final stage of PhD, I decided that it was time for a change of scene, after being in Tuebingen for almost a decade. Nowadays, I work on small little molecules, influencing stomata development in Prof. Dr. Keiko Toriis lab at UT in Austin, Texas.
