Brief bio: I joined Department of Ornamental Horticulture at China Agricultural University in 2015, studied for my doctoral degree under the direction of Prof. Junping Gao and Prof. Nan Ma. After finding that auxin efflux carrier RhPILS1 influences homeotic conversion between petals and stamens in rose flowers, we demonstrated that the auxin-responsive gene RhARF18 controls petal–stamen specification through directly suppressing expression of the C-class gene RhAG. RhARF18 recruits histone deacetylase RhHDA6 to the RhAG promoter to reinforce the transcription repression via histone deacetylation. These findings reveal a new mechanism: auxin regulates floral organ identity through the RhARF18-RhHDA6 module. Now I work in Prof. Zhengan Liu’s lab. My current research focuses on the function and mechanism analysis of phytohormone in the growth and development of Peony.

个人简介:我于2015年加入中国农业大学观赏园艺系,在高俊平教授与马男教授的指导下攻读博士学位。在发现了生长素运输蛋白RhPILS1会对月季花瓣与雄蕊的同源异形转化产生影响的基础上,我们证明了生长素响应基因RhARF18通过直接抑制C类基因RhAG的表达来控制花瓣-雄蕊的形成。RhARF18将组蛋白去乙酰化酶RhHDA6招募到RhAG启动子上,通过组蛋白去乙酰化来增强转录抑制。以上研究揭示了一个新的机制:生长素通过RhARF18-RhHDA6模块调控花器官的发育。博士后期间,我加入了刘政安研究员课题组,主要研究植物激素在牡丹生长和发育中的作用及其机制。
