Jun Zhao, co-first author of Functional relationships of three NFU proteins in the biogenesis of chloroplastic iron‐sulfur clusters
Current Position: Associate Professor, Northwest A&F University
Education: Ph.D. in Biology at Northwest A&F University
Non-Scientific Interests: travelling, jogging, and watching movies
Brief Bio: I received my B.S. degree in Northwest A&F University in 2002 and have been working in this university since then. During this period, I obtained my master’s and doctor’s degrees in biology. In 2010, I joined Professor Fei Yu’s research group, studying the mechanisms of chloroplast development. During November 2018 – November 2019, I worked as a visiting scholar in Dr. Yan Lu’s research group at Western Michigan University, on the biogenesis of iron-sulfur clusters in plants. My current research interests are genetic interactions of plastid-targeted genes in Arabidopsis thaliana.
