Brief bio: I first went to college to become a technician in Agronomy. I decided to continue working only with plants and to learn more about plant specialized metabolism. After a PhD in Switzerland on induced plant defenses I moved to the field of plant volatiles, terpenes and P450s for a Post Doc in Strasbourg. I became more and more interested by working on these pathways from biochemical characterization of enzymes to the biological role of these compounds. I then moved to the USA for another Post Doc where I worked on the fascinating topic of the transport and traficking of the volatile compounds. I am now working in France on these different topics on rose flowers as well as petunia and other aromatic plants.
