Brief bio: After finishing my undergraduate education in 2014, I was fortunate to join the research team of Professor Xie Fang. During the Doctor’s period, I was engaged in the research on nodulation between the legume and rhizobia, major interesting in the molecular mechanisms of how legume plants regulate rhizobia infection. My study found that LjSPIKE1, a DOCK family GEF can interact with and activate small ROP GTPase, LjROP6, which mediate the polar elongation of infection threads in root hairs.
