Brief bio:

I always think that plants are very “magical”. Although they can’t move compared with animals, they can always “take things as they please”. At the same time, they can flexibly cope with the complex and changeable surrounding environment and live “colorful”. Since I came into contact with molecular biology during college, I had always been interested in exploring the mystery of plant growth from the molecular level. In my graduate career, I am very lucky to join Dr. Xiaohui Li’s team. Here we studied the mechanism of jasmonic acid regulating the activity of myrosinase. We found that JAZ proteins can interact with transcription factor FAMA to regulate the activity of myrosinase. In the future, I will continue to explore the molecular mechanism of jasmonic acid and FAMA regulating the activity of two kinds of myrosinase, hoping to get a more comprehensive understanding of the mechanism of jasmonic acid regulating the activity of myrosinase.
