I have always been interested in the research of natural science. During my undergraduate studies, Dr. Wannian Yang’s botany experiment course aroused my great interest in plant research. Therefore, after graduation, I chose to do master’s research in the team of Dr. Wannian Yang and Huazhong Shi. My main work was to study the mechanism of high-temperature tolerance of Arabidopsis using forward chemical genetics. After completing my master’s studies, I chose rice as a further research subject. In Dr. Junli Huang’s research group, I studied the regulatory mechanism between the development and stress resistance in rice. In the future, I am looking forward to contributing to the improvement of the yield and quality of cultivated rice.
