Brief bio: I am fascinated to understand fundamental questions in plant biology field and engineer plants for better nutrients using efficiency. This work is a part of a postdoctoral project in Prof. Stefan Jansson’s group at Umeå University focuses on how circadian components regulate autumn phenology in response to changes in photoperiod, temperature, and nitrogen availability in trees. Using different molecular and biochemical approaches such as transgenic trees, parallel arrangement of metabolomics and transcriptomic, we aim to understand autumn senescence and improve trees production under variable nitrogen statuses.
