Brief bio: I am a student of biology, driven by the curiosity about how life works. I joined the lab of Prof. Zhang Tianzhen at College of Agriculture and Biotechnology, Zhejiang University as PhD scholar in 2018 to study how plants sense and respond to fluctuating temperature and light conditions during the circadian cycle. In this paper, our study provides a new candidate gene, GhHRP, that controls a plant’s adaptive response and survival in the setting of heat stress. GhEIN3/GhPIF4 complex directly interacts with GhHRP in the nucleus during heat stress and protects chloroplasts from photo-oxidative burst via repressing AtACS8 and AtACS7 and suppressing AtYUC8 and the heat-responsive genes HSFA2, HSP70 and HSP20.

个人简介:我是一名生物专业的学生,对生命是如何运作的好奇驱使着我。我于2018年以博士研究生的身份加入浙江大学农业与生物技术学院张天真教授的实验室,研究植物在昼夜周期中如何感知和响应波动的温度和光条件。在本文中,我们通过研究获得了一个新的候选基因GhHRP,它控制植物在热胁迫环境下的适应性反应和生存。热应激时,GhEIN3/GhPIF4复合体在核内与GhHRP直接相互作用,通过抑制AtACS8AtACS7,以及抑制AtYUC8和热响应基因HSFA2HSP70HSP20,保护叶绿体免于光氧化猝发。
