Brief bio:

I am interested in transcriptional regulation of genes in plants. During my master and doctor stages, I focused on the biological functions of histone methylation modifications in rice and discovered that H3K4/K36 methyltransferases regulate rice growth and development through establishing H3K4/K36 methylation modifications. During my postdoctoral stage, I focused on the biological functions of R-loops in Arabidopsis thaliana and discovered that intragenic tRNA R-loops regulate the transcription of genes by regulating transcription interference between RNA polymerases and it regulates plant tolerance to oxidative stress.

个人简介:

我对植物基因转录调控比较感兴趣。博士期间,主要研究水稻中组蛋白甲基化修饰的生物学功能,发现H3K4/K36甲基转移酶通过建立H3K4/K36甲基化修饰调控水稻的生长发育。在博士后阶段,主要研究拟南芥中R-loops的生物学功能,发现基因内tRNA R-loops通过调控RNA聚合酶之间的转录干扰调控基因的转录,进而调控植物对氧化胁迫的耐受。
