Brief bio: I started my research in the field of plant virology when I was a master student. Since then, my major interests are the infectivity of monocot-infecting viruses and host resistance, and also the development and application of virus-based vectors. During my postdoctoral research, I worked on virus-based gene silencing and expression vectors in maize in Prof. Yule Liu’s Lab at Tsinghua University. My collaborators and I established a pseudorecombinant-chimeric Cucumber mosaic virus-based gene silencing system, namely Pr CMV VIGS system, which can efficiently cause gene silencing with long duration in maize plants. Our Pr CMV VIGS has a great potential use in functional genomic studies of maize.
个人简介：我从硕士阶段始进入植物病毒学领域的研究，多年来主要从事单子叶植物病毒的抗性研究和植物病毒载体的开发及应用。博士后工作期间，在清华大学刘玉乐教授实验室主要从事玉米病毒载体的开发应用及抗病机制研究。在此期间，我们建立了一种假重组嵌合体黄瓜花叶病毒介导的基因沉默系统，即Pr CMV VIGS系统，该系统可高效沉默玉米目的基因，且基因沉默持续时间长，在玉米功能基因组研究中具有重大的应用前景。
