Brief bio: In 2017, I joined professor Yanxi Pei’s research group in the Shanxi University to pursue a master’s degree. During my postgraduate study, I focused on studying of the mechanism of H2S signal in response to abiotic stress. At present, we have revealed the mechanism in which PRMT5-mediated methylation of LCD to increase its enzymatic activity, thereby strengthening the endogenous H2S signal, and finally improving plant tolerance to Cd2+ stress. I hope these findings will provide new insight in both gasotransmitter and protein methyltransferase fields. I also hope to continue to explore in this field and make more discoveries in the future.
