Brief bio: Since I was in college, I have been interested in the strange phenotypes of plants. During my PhD, I studied the initiation and development of bulbil, a special vegetative reproductive organ of lily, and revealed the mechanism that LlWOX11 mediates cytokinin pathway to promote bulbil formation. In 2021, after graduating from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, I joined the team of professor Feng Ming of Shanghai Normal University. Now, I study the peculiar labellum of Orchidaceae, and hope we can clarify the molecular mechanism of labellum differentiation and labellum identity determination.
