Current Position: Postdoctoral Researcher, Centre of Plant Structural and Functional Genomics, Institute of Experimental Botany, Olomouc, Czech Republic
Education: PhD in Botany, MSc in Molecular and Cell Biology, Palacky University, Olomouc, CZE
Non-scientific Interests: sports, gardening, exploring craft beer all over the world
Brief bio: After defending my PhD thesis under supervision of prof. Jaroslav Dolezel (Palacky University, Olomouc, CZE), I became postdoctoral researcher in the group of prof. Lars Hennig and prof. Claudia Kohler (SLU Uppsala, Sweden). I aimed at better understanding of epigenetic regulation of developmental transitions in Arabidopsis. Currently, I am postdoctoral researcher in the group of Dr. Ales Pecinka, where I am interested in DNA-damage repair in Arabidopsis, specifically on identification of new proteins involved in DNA damage repair and role of SUMOylation in the repair.
