Brief Bio: I completed my MSc (hons) Agriculture from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. In 2012, I joined Department of Plant Breeding, University of Bonn as PhD scholar under the financial cooperation of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) and German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Here, I completed my PhD degree by performing research on genetic and molecular analysis of proline mediated drought stress tolerance in barley natural diversity and identification of associated genes. My research interest also lies in linking root and shoot traits under varying environmental conditions and to understand how plants can adapt to changing environments.
