Brief bio: I have primarily been involved in imaging the plant thylakoid membrane since the start of my PhD. In my PhD I used atomic force microscopy (AFM) to map the protein composition of the thylakoid membrane. Since then, I have branched out into other methods such as structured-illumination microscopy (SIM, the focus of this paper), plant physiology, and computational modelling and simulation but still focus my attention on photosynthesis and the thylakoid membrane.
