Brief bio: At the beginning of my student days in Aachen, I realized how fascinating plants can be. I wanted to understand the physiology of plants and how they can prevent themselves from pathogen infections. During my diploma thesis, I came in contact with the “priming of plants” and I was fascinated by the mechanism. That’s why I tried to uncover part of the priming initiating mechanism in my PhD thesis.
