Brief bio: As a Ph.D. student, I had worked in the lab of my doctoral supervisor Dr. Yu-Jin Hao, where I received my basic training of lab experiments. My research projects had focused on understanding the regulatory mechanisms of posttranslational modification of proteins in controlling fruit quality formation and rootstock resistance of apples. After graduation (in June 2018), I recently joined Dr. Fadi Chen`s lab at Nanjing Agricultural University, where I started to investigate the gene regulatory mechanisms controlling flower color formation in Chrysanthemums.
