Brief Bio: I received my Ph.D. education from Dr. Glen Hartman at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and I am currently a postdoc in Dr. Martin Chilvers’ team at Michigan State University. My research interests include broad aspects of plant pathology, from applied to molecular; and my research experiences have been mostly concentrated on soybean diseases. My intense focus is sudden death syndrome regarding both pathogen virulence and host resistance. Thanks to my advisors and all the co-authors in this publication to help me establish a system to understand this disease, and it is my pleasure to document our small accomplishment and friendship in such a reputable journal.

自我介紹：我於伊利諾大學香檳分校Dr. Glen Hartman門下習得博士學位，目前於密西根州立大學Dr. Martin Chilvers的團隊中擔任博後研究員。我的研究興趣廣闊，包含了從應用到分子層次的植物病理學；我的研究經驗集中於大豆的各式病害，其中大豆猝死病是我的研究重心，研究主題包括了病菌致病力和宿主抗病性。感謝我的指導教授們以及所有的共同作者，他們的參與幫助了我建立系統以致進一步地理解這個病害。很榮幸能和這些前輩一起在這麼卓越的期刊上發表這篇小小的成果，用以見證我們的萍水相逢。
