Eiji Gotoh, first author of Chloroplast accumulation response enhances leaf photosynthesis and plant biomass production

Current Position: Assistant Professor, Faculty of Agriculture, Kyushu University

Education: Eiji Gotoh obtained his Ph.D. at the Graduate School of Agriculture, Kyushu University.

Brief bio: In 2011, he jointed Dr. Ken’ichiro Shimazaki group at the Faculty of Science, Kyushu University as a postdoctoral researcher, where he started his research on the blue-light receptor phototropin. Since 2012, he has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kyushu University. His current research interests focus on the blue-light responses in plants, both the molecular mechanistic and ecological points of view.
