Brief bio: I completed my PhD studies with Prof. Elisabetta Caporali on seed development in Arabidopsis thaliana. As a postdoc I worked with Prof. Lucia Colombo on embryo/integument cross talk and with Prof. Simona Masiero on transcription factors involved in flower development in Arabidopsis and Antirrhinum. My current research focuses on understating the networks controlling fruit development in dry and fleshy fruits.
