Brief bio: Because of my personal interest to computer science, I am always obsessed to explain biological phenomena using data analysis. I look at plant genomic sequences to discover novel genes that control important traits such as drought resistance or ability to efficiently use nitrogen and phosphorus from the soil. It is really interesting to explore the ocean of data and find its biological meaning. I hope the discovery of these novel genes and explanation of their roles will help scientist to deliver new cultivars with improved traits.
